Could Little’s Bus Company please explain why, after travelling from Daylesford to Hepburn along Ajax Road at 4.20pm on Thursday March 7, a large (at least 35 seat) bus, instead of turning right at 15th Street (which is sealed) proceeded across 15th Street and hurtled at excessive speed down 16th Street, which is narrow and unsealed.
This was rude and inconsiderate, causing huge clouds of dust to settle on every house and car in 16th Street and was dangerous as the driver was travelling too fast for the road surface and blind corner.
This road is used not only by pedestrians but also by school children who walk on the road as there is no footpath. Because there are no bus stops in this street and there is a sealed alternative, the driver had no business travelling down 16th Street in such a dangerous manner.
I suggest forcing the driver to come and wash the houses and cars affected. It would cause cowboy drivers like this to think twice.
