Cash will be the topic of conversation for indoor cricketers during the next few months with the likelihood of a couple of competitions offering cash prizes.
Firstly, nominations are now open for the second Super Skins $2500 tournament.
The tournament will be staged at the Sports World complex during the Easter weekend in March and follows on from the successful inaugural tournament staged last year and won by the local Newtown Cricket Club.
Information has been sent to indoor cricket centres across New South Wales and interest is high.
It is expected that the rich tournament will attract visitors from far and wide to Dubbo to contest the series.
The second tournament being proposed is in response to requests from players to consider playing the popular twenty20 cricket game indoors.
Normally during winter the stadium conducts its A grade competition a Skins Super Series with cash prizes on offer.
However management is considering changing the format to the twenty20 and offering cash for this series.
The competition will be open to all interested persons and co-ordinator Greg King would welcome input from as many players as possible.
He can be contacted at the stadium on 6884 0123 and would welcome any interest.
All other grades will be as normal with all the associated action, excitement and fun.
