Ulladulla Public School has established a Volunteer ReadingProgram to assist children in their reading.
The school is looking for interested community members tovolunteer to train as reading tutors.
Each tutor would be assigned particular students that theywould assist each week.
Full training and ongoing support will be given to alltutors by the support teacher, Bev Johnson.
If there is anyone in the community who would like tovolunteer an hour and a half of the time, any day of the week, or would likemore information about the project please contact Bev Johnson at UlladullaPublic School on 4455 1649.
A meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 10, at 2.15 pm inthe school library to discuss the program.
Tutoring will commence in Term 2, staring Monday, May 6.
It is extremely satisfying to assist a child learn to readand an hour of your time could really help some students.
