LIVERPOOL residents who park their cars at Collimore Park on the fringe of the city centre might have a tough time finding a spot while upgrade works continue.
The park was refurbished and opened last year to allow free all-day secure parking for people who work in the Liverpool central business district.
Since new works began last week, several parts of the car park have been closed off for pavement resurfacing and surfacing on unpaved sections.
Improvement works include additional lighting to improve visibility within the car park, and the installation of traffic control devices, signage and line marking.
The works are scheduled to be carried out in a number of stages.
They are scheduled to be completed by the end of May, weather permitting.
