Knives were used to hold up a service station and a female pedestrian during the course of two separate armed robberies in Dubbo.
The Bogas Service Station in Windsor Parade was held up by two male youths on Tuesday night about 9.15pm.
The youths, described as being 15 to 17 years old, threatened service station staff with knives and demanded money.
The offenders were described as wearing bandannas and after the incident fled the scene on foot.
Meanwhile, a female pedestrian was standing at the west end of the LH Ford bridge about 3pm yesterday when a young male produced a knife.
The offender, described as being about 15 years old, threatened the woman with the weapon and robbed her of a small amount of money.
The youth was described as wearing silvery, light-coloured clothing and was last seen running in the direction of the LH Ford bridge.
Investigations are continuing into both robberies – anyone who witnessed or has information about either incident is asked to call Dubbo police on 6881 3299.
